This knife was made from a knife manufactured in Sheffield, England sometime in the 1820s-1850s by the Joseph Elliot & Sons Company. The knife is high carbon, double shear steel, forged & tempered while the guard is made of copper. The sheath features bicolored painted leather with copper rivets and the knife is marked by the maker “AKAT Co. 2025”. The sheath, handle, and guard were all handmade in-house.
